First Glance

Let me set the scene! It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in East San Rafael…Memorial Day weekend 2014. We were getting to know our new neighbors Chuck and Jane at their Memorial Day weekend party…and 100 of their closest friends. As you walked over to introduce yourself I could here the words of one of my favorite Mother Hips songs in my head…”She comes from Sunny Santa Barbara where..the air is clean and waves are green and glassy…she is so unique, she is a mountain peak, she’s tiny but she’s classy”…. And now I always think of you when I hear that song💕 Piper…I love spending time with you and adore your family and friends. If I’m doing the math right…we met right before your 40th and here we are a decade later celebrating 50!! We have shared lots of memories between school auctions, Huichica, Hipnics, wine tasting..Bolinas…Skiing…and I look forward to more laughs and connection in our 50’s and beyond!
